It's hard to say John Karlen never got the credit he deserves (he's got an Emmy, after all) but WOW did this guy blow the doors off almost every character he played on Dark Shadows. He had such a presence that people often forget he appeared in fewer than 200 episodes of Dark Shadows' 1,125 episode run.
