Can a 172-year-old vampire find love and happiness?

  1. Hi. I really enjoy your postings of articles on Dark Shadows, but I'd like to ask something. Since I can't find a way to email you the question, I thought I'd try and ask it here. When you post these articles, is it with the intent that we actually read them or just look at the titles and pictures? Maybe I'm not doing it right, but the majority of the articles are very blurry or the print very tiny. I realize that the articles are mostly older, and with most I can make out the story if I zoom in at various higher percentages. With this one, though, at a zoom of 400%, I can just make out the words on the first page but it's impossible to read the other pages or see the pictures in any way clearly. I've been wondering about this for awhile and just thought I'd take the time to ask about it now. Thanks for your time, and any help you can give.

    1. That's a good question, and you're not the first person to ask. I might have to make a note somewhere in the page header, but here's how it works: Blogger's image interface is good for photos, but not so good for files with detailed text. When you click on the image it should open in a viewer/window. When you do that, right click and choose "view image." You'll see the image at full size, and you can also then download it to read it in an independent image viewer.

Hope that helps! I scan these images pretty large, so they should be legible. The most recent post, "Jonathan Frid is popular as 'Dark Shadows' vampire," should be almost 19 inches tall and should be very legible at full size.
