The British grocery store TESCO has issued an apology for selling a horror movie-themed coloring book to children, which might be the dumbest news story you'll read all week. For that, I apologize.
COLOUR ME GOOD ARRGGGHHHH includes B&W line art of characters from such movies as THE SHINING, HELLRAISER, CARRIE and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. Parents were reportedly perplexed when their children bought a coloring book depicting a screaming, blood-splattered JANET LEIGH on the cover. I can't think of better example of "truth in advertising" than the cover of COLOUR ME GOOD ARRGGGHHHH, but I'm a childless anarchist ... so my opinion should probably be taken with a grain of salt. Frankly, I think the CMG's entire line of coloring books is hilarious and wish they'd been around when I was a kid.
Besides, the REAL question is "Who the hell thinks A CLOCKWORK ORANGE is a horror movie?" Why not add the LARRY CLARKE film KIDS to the mix while you're at it?

Oh god! Let's leave Kids out of it. If I never see that movie again it will be too soon.
