Barnabas Collins returns this month in "The Curse of Shurafa"

The latest issue of Vortex has an interview with Rob Morris, the writer of the upcoming DARK SHADOWS audiodrama, "The Curse of Shurafa." Due out this month, the story looks to explain the mysterious activities of Barnabas Collins, Dr. Julia Hoffman and Professor Stokes during the years after the end of the original television series.

Here's what Morris has to say about his first DARK SHADOWS script:

“It’s about how the friendship between a 200-year-old vampire and a brilliant doctor is put to the test when an ancient Egyptian spirit returns to 1970s Cairo. Some pretty horrible things go down – seriously, I’m disgusted by myself – but the worst is that their friendship leaves the vampire with a horrible choice to make.”
